Coaching for Business Owners
Frequently asked questions.
Who is your business coaching for?
Reboot Coaching is for UK small business owners and start-ups — especially owner-operators (solo to 5 employees) who are time-poor and stuck in the day-to-day.
That includes family-run businesses, limited companies, partnerships, freelancers, solopreneurs, and people planning to launch.
Coaching is a strong fit if you:
feel overwhelmed or constantly firefighting
are unsure what to prioritise
want clearer direction and a realistic plan
need accountability to follow through
Whatever stage you’re at, we can work together, but most clients come because they want clarity, focus, and momentum.
What is your coaching like?
Sessions are 1–2–1, tailored to you, and run in person or via video call.
My style is straight-talking, supportive, and practical. We focus on what will make the biggest difference next — and you’ll leave each session with decisions made and clear next steps, not just a good conversation.
How do we start?
A common starting point is one 60-minute session per week, then we adjust once momentum builds.
Sessions are booked in blocks:
3 sessions (standard block)
6 sessions + 30 minutes free
9 sessions + 60 minutes free
How regularly would our sessions be?
It depends on your goals, workload, and preferred pace. Some clients choose weekly sessions, others fortnightly or monthly blocks.
Can I extend our sessions?
Yes — with advance notice and subject to diary availability.
Can you solve my business or personal challenges?
Coaching is collaborative and action-focused. I won’t “take over” your business or give generic advice — but I will help you think clearly, make better decisions, and take consistent action.
In practice that means:
clarifying what’s really driving the issue
challenging assumptions (constructively)
exploring options and choosing a clear direction
agreeing practical next steps and holding you accountable
Most clients find they gain clarity quickly — and then progress comes from doing the right things consistently.
What are your payment terms?
Sessions are purchased in blocks of three hours
(see packages and special offers here).
Payment is by bank transfer in advance of sessions.
I’ve never been coached and feel unsure it is right for me.
That’s common. Coaching works best when there’s trust and a good fit.
That’s why I offer a free 30-minute exploratory meeting. We’ll discuss your situation, what you want to change, and how I can help. If it doesn’t feel right, there’s no obligation to proceed.
Is coaching a business expense?
In most cases, coaching can be a legitimate business expense, but it depends on your circumstances. If in doubt, check with your accountant.
Can you visit our premises for our coaching session?
Yes, I can come to your offices. Travel and any accommodation (if required) would be added to the session fee.
Can you help with financial issues?
I’m a coach, not a financial adviser. However, I can help you understand and frame your financial situation, prepare for discussions with accountants/advisers, and think through decisions involving banks, shareholders, or investors.
Can you help me if I am stuck/unhappy with my business?
Yes. We’ll identify what’s contributing to how you’re feeling, what needs to change, and what a better situation looks like.
That might mean improving the current business, changing how you work inside it, or, if it’s right for you, exploring an exit or a new direction. What are your terms of service?
